the MN Garlic Festival Annual Garlic Growing Contest was held during the festival on August 10, 2024.
Prizes in 13 categories, including “The Garlic Makeover” artistic competition.

There will be prizes for BEST IN SHOW, overall BIGGEST and SMALLEST heads and for each of the ten categories:
1) Artichoke 2) Asiatic 3) Creole 4) Glazed Purple Stripe 5) Marbled Purple Stripe
6) Porcelain 7) Purple Stripe 8) Rocambole 9) Silverskin 10) Turban
“GARLIC MAKEOVER” category
This category is for creative submissions that include garlic.
There are two division in the Garlic Makeover Contest:
– Youth Division: 12 and under
– Adult Division: 13 and up
The judge is the Garlic Festival Director.
