11:00 a.m Matthew Fitzgerald, Fitzgerald Organics LLC, Hutchinson MN
Growing organic row crops for over 20 years, Matthew is also focused on supporting beginning farmers.
12:00 p.m. Zach Paige, North Circle Seeds, Vergas MN
1:00 p.m. Angie Walter, Walter Organic Family Farm, Westport, MN
A sustainable organic dairy farm that milks 100 crossbred cows. The Walter Family believes everything starts with good soil health, and they strive to use as many regenerative agricultural practices as they can.
2:30 p.m. Jerry Ford, Living Song Farm, Howard Lake MN
Living Song is a 4th generation farm that specializes in conservation practices, grass-fed beef and certified organic garlic. Jerry is also the Director of the Garlic Festival, and would love to take your questions about that as well.
3:30 p.m. Dan Moe, The Farm of Minnesota, Hutchinson MN
The “Garlic Grower is In” Booth
Professional Garlic growers will staff this booth - think Lucy Van Pelt’s “The Psychiatrist is In” booth - throughout the day. Located in the Garlic Growers Building, these growers will answer your questions about selecting the right garlic, growing it and storing it for your kitchen.
The Farmer VIP Program
Strike up a conversation with our local farmers at the festival and ask them about their farms! They will be wearing a button that identifies them as a local farmer and they're ready to talk about it
